About the Blog

This blog, PathFancy, is about homebrewed rules for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game (a fantasy RPG first published by Paizo in 2009). The homebrewed rules of some gamers and gamemasters are quite balanced and playable. Other times, a gamemaster just needs a creative outlet for their eccentric idea. Gamers know that not all cool ideas, even brilliant ones, translate to fun at the gaming table. The design here is admittedly self-indulgent. While ideally a gamemaster might find something useful, it is created without much concern for a player audience. Readers need not struggle with outrage over utility or balance...appreciate the homebrewed content here simply as art.
